  • Key Stage 1 resources

Here is our Maths Music Robots 3.0 course
  • How to use these resources

Welcome, and thank you for joining us!

Below, you will find all the resources for our Key Stage 1 project called Maths Music Robots 3.0. It was delivered in schools - and online - during 2019/20, thanks to the generous funding from the Shine Trust UK, Rotherham Music and the Havering Music School.

We set out to bring the STEAM approach to the early years, both in class and at home. We designed the course using the Discover framework from the Trinity Arts Awards. You may choose to follow it, generate the portfolio and enter your class for the examination, or to use these lessons independently. The first three parts of the course can be delivered entirely with free resources, whilst the bonus lessons require some digital hardware.

Each session has a Video, a Presentation, a Lesson Plan and a set of Homework. You may use the Video for your own preparation, or share it with the class. The videos are freely available on YouTube, so that your students and their families can continue learning at home, in their own time. You can use our Powerpoint during your lesson, and it'll take you through the steps. The Lesson Plans go deeper and explain everything in detail, highlighting the connections to the National Curriculum, as of July 2020. Finally, the Homework can be downloaded and printed, or its link can be shared freely.

Should you have any comments, or experience any technical issues, please do not hesitate to contact us as we are always keen to improve our provision.

We hope you will enjoy the course,

    The Conductive Music Team
