Fanny Martin

Fanny Martin is a creative producer and arts manager specialised in events management, strategic planning, fundraising and communications for festivals, lifelong learning and community engagement. She holds a MSc in Business Management from Bordeaux Business School and an MA (Research) in Art Philosophy from Pau University (France), for which she studied the aesthetics and politics of street art. Previous clients and contracts in the UK and Canada include arts festivals, strategic cultural networks, artistic development programmes and orchestras and ensembles. She was also a member of a vegan workers’ cooperative, administered a technology donation programme, organised a worldwide celebration of Jane Jacobs’ urban wisdom and translated from English to French two publications on urban creativity and resilience.

 

As well as fundraising for Conductive Music, Fanny is currently coordinating an AHRC-funded research project into how adults learn to sing at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, promoting performances for London-based Club Inégales, producing a heritage project for Marsden Jazz Festival and development a mentoring programme for creative producers in the North of England.
