Jack White is a composer, living and working in Wales, who describes his work as emotional and accessible.
Since Digital Dust was premiered by BBC Symphony Orchestra in 2012, the sound-world of his
music has continued to cross-over with his interest in electroacoustic composition. His work
often creates practical solutions for the combination of acoustic performers and electroacoustic or cinematic sound. His work has proved accessible to many large-scale community groups, with one large-scale piece receiving a PRS musical education award. Jack’s last work ‘Islands (Ynysoedd)’ won critical acclaim at its premiere, being described by the ‘The Telegraph’ as ‘terrifically imaginative and effective’. This piece, and many others, can be listened to through his website.
