Chani Jagdev

Chani is a freelance sound engineer , creative designer and producer. He works at the Newham Music Academy with students in schools and community centres teaching music production and sound engineering.
His pursuit in this field has spanned for over 15 years, working in a variety of settings in pre/post Music production, from creating adverts to final mixes. Managing studio1 (Paul Weller’s former Studio) at the Jamestown complex (Whitechapel) for over four years enabled him to learn from 23 other studio engineers, producers, musicians, artists who where all actively producing in the complex (Anjuna Beats, Alabama 3, Shy FX, Moving Fusion, Masterstepz (Choice-Fm) the list goes on.
Producing musical dance productions with pupils at Langdon School, performed in Stratford circus for opening ceremonies of the sports hall for the new opportunity fund based in Newham (Stratford).
Creating and applying teaching methods through software presentations to accelerate learning with children in schools. Working with hard to reach students who have an interest in music production, keeping up with the current trends the young students are into, because of his community centre work, this allows him to easily connect with students. Two of which have currently won Jack Petchey awards for outstanding achievements. He has teaching experience at several schools.
Chani works with the Conductive Music team using his creative inputs to help students understand the concepts within the project and also provides support to the team.
