Sebastian Ruiz is a PhD student at the Media and Arts Technology programme of Queen Mary University of London. He has 5+ years experience in research projects in the field of Sound Processing, such as animal bioacoustics, psychoacoustics and technologies for the hearing and vision impaired. He has 4+ years experience teaching Computer Science.

His research interests range Education, Sound Processing and Perception, Dance and Instruments Design.

As a movement practitioner, he has participated in performances by contemporary dance groups, Butoh dance groups and participated in Capoeira demonstrations.
