Alessia is a researcher and architect combining her experience in parametric design with her interest in acoustic education.
Her work questions the intentionality in the aural design of spaces, and the weight of architecture, urban design, nature, in the composition of the anthropic soundscape.
Between traditional and innovative interdisciplinary methodologies, architectural environments are researched with the aid of interactive sonic e-textiles and graphical tools to capture spatial perception in the field.
Alessia received her degree in Architecture with full marks and honour from Valle Giulia, Universitá di Roma “Sapienza” in 2011, and is currently a PhD candidate in the Media and Arts Technology Programme at QMUL.
